Over the past decade, German has become one of the most desired and useful languages for professionals looking to expand their opportunities in the German market or integrate themselves and their families into German-speaking societies after relocating for professional reasons.
LENA is my vision for guiding professionals and language enthusiasts, both online and in person, along their journey to learning German through a personal approach that creates a fun, authentic learning experience, while ensuring they are properly trained in the our major skills laid out in the common frame of European languages—reading, writing, speaking and listening. To that end, I always take into account the student’s goals, interests, learning strengths and weaknesses and focus on building a connection between the student, the German language and German-speaking cultures.
I have studied and worked with languages my entire life, earning BA’s in French and Spanish, an MBA in tourism management, attaining native-level English and completing the Goethe Institute’s German as a Foreign Language certificate program.
Over the past years, I’ve worked mainly as a private language instructor, while also serving as the German lecturer at the Center for Austrian and German Studies at Israel’s Ben Gurion University, an instructor for online language companies (Lingoda and VET) and language companies such as Oxford School and German translation and content manager for the official tourism website of Jerusalem.
